Passivation treatment is for numerous stainless steel alloys. The processes result in the removal of impurities such as iron oxide. They also result in the relief of stress within the parts, creating an excellent corrosion resistant and durable part. The passivation processes also utilize differnt types of solutions at different concentrations of citric acid or nitric acid in combination with or without sodium dichromate. However, we offer passivation in a nitric acid solution to serve the military and aerospace industries' requirements.
Available processes are:
- QQ-P-35
-Type II -Type VI -Type VIII
- ASTM A967
- Nitric 1 - Nitirc 2 - Nitric 4
- ASTM A380
- AMS 2700
- MIL-S-5002
